I went googling for a picture of Cruella De Vil and dagnabit if this wasn't the most Interesting one I found.
I am neutral on PETA. I eat meat, wear leather to keep me warm and for my floggers---but I think fur is extravagant and cruel and that the MEAT Industry has gotten way out of hand. But I just think whoever came up with this image is a good graphic designer.
Anyway....the topic...Evil Bitches.
I had to deal today with a Top of Her Game MANIPULATRIX.
The kind of Schmoozy Authoritative Business Woman who lays out her business's foibles in a nice double twist with a side of guilt that makes weak people believe that it is Their Fault that the Deadline is late and They are the reason more costs are being incurred.
Sorry baby, not this Chick, not today.
Trouble is that this woman has to do with services for my autistic son. And I have been in the social services field for 19 years. I know just how stupid things can get and how inefficiently things are usually run.
And I have heard the voice of someone trying to pass the buck before.
It's got a nasty-nasally little strain in it--like some where the person's conscience is pulling with all it's might in a losing battle of tug-o-war with the person's Ego.
Meanwhile, it's my son's therapy that isn't actually starting til September that's at stake. And my son is the one missing out.
*Sigh*
