7-17-07 Doorways

My dream the other night with the "boyfriend" figure crashing through my doorways in my house got me thinking about threshholds.

So hard to cross sometimes, yet what's on the other side could be as exciting, frightening or as mundane as a person could imagine.

But as long as one stands on and looks through the door and wonders, one will never really know for sure.

In that dream, I think the doors represented my boundaries. I fear a man just *crashing* through them---even though I am inclined to open them anyway were he just to have the presence of mind to be aware that they exist.
