- Viktor Frankl had just received a visa to go to America shortly after the Germans occupied Austria. His parents were overjoyed--he would be saved from the war.
But he was torn. Should he go and foster his life's work---his writing--or stay with his parents so that they did not have to face the fate of the camps alone.
He then saw a piece of marble laying on a table. His father noticed and said that he had found it in the rubble of a temple the Nazis had bombed. It was from the tablets that held the ten commandments. It was a letter that stood for the commandment "Honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long upon the land"
So he stayed.
He surrendered to his Life and ended up Living.

This picture is of my boys in 2004. I was just starting over again then.
But my motivation was founded on someone else's ideals.
I surrendered to Ethereal Lies
Now things Must Be Different. My boys are 3 years older and I am starting over Again.
My motivation must be founded on what My Family Needs.
I Must Surrender to Real Life.
He wanted a "multi-lingual Sharon Stone" type who would look good in latex and fetish gear and he could dress up and take to parties at rich peoples houses---because he "hung with the rich folks" and I was to "know luxury beyond what few women will ever know"....and on and on ad nauseaum.
I am just Me. Linda Ophoenix. Artist, Designer, Lover, Domme/switch, and proud MOTHER of two wonderful boys---one with special needs
I need to deal with that first and foremost.
Dreaming of limos and pedicures and Prince Charming just gets a gal into trouble.
and...
WTF, Sharon Stone........Gaggggh!
