My Mom's Day

I had a great Mother's Day.

My older son forgot to get me a card til Sunday. The result was a cute card with a monkey on it and a guilt purchased box of chocolates. He was very repentant and it was darling. He's been great lately, so this is no big deal.

Then I took my 7 year old autistic son for a long bike ride and to the park. I found out he knows left from right. That was a Mother's day present right there--his learning is a gift.

All in all--a beautiful day.
